Rediculous

So with this being my last blog post for the semester I thought I would reflect upon the fun times in class as well as the ridiculousness that has happened over the semester.

I was not sure what to expect with this class, and I am surprised on how interactive and entertaining this class was.  When I first started this blog I had no idea what to do with it. So I started to go in the direction of telling funny stories about the people in my life or about the crazy things that happen in my job, but when my fiance introduced me to a set of clips on youtube I decided to share with the world how out of control this child was in the best freak out ever videos. Then there were the set of videos from scaretactics which is probably the greatest prank show on TV. And then lastly the hood rat kid.

Overall, it was great experience to learn about blogging and trying to be more creative than just giving you a boring post, if I even accomplished that this blog would be a success in my opinion.

7 year old: hoodrat stuff wit my friend

Kids are ridiculous, their imaginations can run wild. This child feels that it is ok to do "hood rat things" with his friends. The part that gets me is children are all influenced by different aspects of their lives and what influence could possibly possessing this hood rat to do hood rat things.

This child's idea of doing hood rat things is stealing his grandma's car and going for a joy ride which is ended in wrecking the vehicle and doing thousands of dollars worth of damage. When he talks to the police he thinks everything is okay and he doesn't believe he did anything wrong but he did it because he was mad.

Overall, this child was doing hood rat things whether a publicity of stunt or not it really makes me question the authority that his mother has over him and the lack of respect he has for others. If he can do this kind of damage at this age, what is to say he is capable of doing in the future? I don't think I care to find out.

Greatest Freak Out Ever 7 (ORIGINAL VIDEO)

Kids never like doing chores, well at least most don't. I've seen kids throw fits and temper tantrums just to get out of them, but I have yet to see a teenager let alone a child act like this when angry at the chore at hand. In this video from the greatest freak out even Steven gets frustrated with the fact that he has to vacuum and takes all his frustration out on the vacuum. What I don't understand is the pattern of this kids behavior. Seen from previous posts this is either a publicity stunt for this family or these parents have had the hardest time raising this child and his outbursts or they just don't deal with it at all.

The Prank That Would Get Me Good

In this clip from scare tactics I would literally pee my pants. I tend to get really freaked out really easily and anything devilish is just not for me. So if I was set up for this prank I would probably not only hate the person who did that to me for the rest of my life, but also have nightmares for god knows how long.

This clip sets up poor little Brittany who is set up by none other than her mother. She thinks she is just working the front desk at some sort of clinic, but as the prank unveils she is about to witness the birth of a satan baby. Her reaction is hillarious, but like I said if I were in her shoes I would be completely scared out of my mind.

Practical Jokes Are The Best!

Everyone loves a funny prank, but the show Scare Tactics takes pranking friends to a whole new level. The poor guy in this clip needs to make some extra cash and takes this baby sitting job instead of doing his reasearch. Little does he know that his friend has helped set him out to scare him out of his pants.

Personally I would love to set up a few family members and friends on this show. But most of all I would love to set up my fiance because he claims that nothing scares him. So to see him lose it because he is scared out of my mind would make my day.

Overall, pranks whether there televised or behind closed doors they always strive to get a laugh. And this clip definitly does!

Gymnastics Time!

This poor gymnastics instructor, this is probably the funniest Greatest Freakout Ever video in my opinon. Some of the others i find a bit more serious with the reaction to the punishment or just towards people in general.

In this youtube clip I cannot get over how obsessed this kid is about not being touched, she is a gymnastics teacher thats what they do to help you....get over it! And then the foam pit, oh the foam pit (enough said). And the whole time his little brother keeps being told to leave and he just does not care and does what he can to capture these moments on video.

Where do you draw the line?

From my own experience with obsessed gamers whether it be online, PS3, xbox, etc. they can tend to get a little upset when things do not go there way. I would get so frustrated with my fiance because he would get mad during certain games that were not going his way. So when he showed me this video I was taken back to the level of chaos in this video.

The part that gets me is why does his brother do this to him. I remember being a child and wanting to torment my sisters, but this is a little drastic. At what point do you draw the line?

Sweet Sixteen

Every kid wants a car for their sixteenth birthday. While others are having outrageous birthdays others just get the joy of opening their presents. But have you ever asked yourself what you would do if you got a gift you really didn't want? I know I may just cry and throw a fit when I was a kid before my parents put me in my place and then grounded me for eternity, but others will do this.

Greatest Freak Out Ever 6 (ORIGINAL VIDEO)

My fiance stumbled across the series of the greatest freak out ever. This is probably one of the most rediculous series of videos I have ever seen. At times I find myself laughing and wanting to see more. It also makes me wonder why this kid is such a brat? This is definitly on my all time list of crazy things people do. (poor grandma) lol :)

Ohh College Students

In my particular industry I come in contact with several college students and one thing I have yet to understand is why they feel the need to impress me? I do not care what you did last friday night at that party! But what I find most interesting is why they feel the need to disclose so much information to you about that killer party and how you dropped your device in a beer bong and when they have to call mom or dad to get security information from them and they ask them why they are in the tone completely changes.

Ohh, ummm well I lost it, or simply I just dropped it. I can't remember any particular off the top of my head, but the best ones are the long stories they trip over to tell them why its broken. College students are the worst too! Out of all of the days in the year the worst days for insurance claims is the day after Homecoming. Seriously kids, you got to take care of your devices! Without insurance some of them can cost up to $600.00!!!

The Customer Is Always Right?

Is the customer always right? This is what most of them think, but truthfully working in the customer service industry almost 80-90% of them are wrong. Damaged equipment for example, you broke it and thats not my fault and not everything in life is free...so if you don't have insurance don't yell at me for it and demand you deserve a new device after you just ran it over with a pickup truck!

Also doesn't everyone keep a reciept for cash payments? You would think everyone does! But nooooo! Don't come in and start yelling at me because you put your cash payment in a mailing addressed envelope in some mysterous basket that you describe that has never been in our office and now your bill is over 30 days past due! For real, people do that!

I believe that 10-20% of the people I come in contact with in customer service are normal...and the rest are well....Not! Please do not think I am venting or that I don't like my job, because I love my job and the people I work with! I just sometimes cannot understand where the mindset of some customers come from!

The Characters of My Life

I come in contact with a lot of interesting people in my life. Working in the customer service industry I've seen it all. One particular character that I have come in contact with is like no other person I have ever met.

This man is straight out of the shakespearn age. From the way he talks to the way he dresses. I've never heard anyone speak that propper before. EVER!!!

He also is very impacient and every time I come in contact with him if the store is busy he cannot stand it and shouts things like "I must not wait in line" (in a shakespearn accent lol). He also has a facination with foutain pens and likes to discuss how no one appriciates foutain pens anymore. One time he even quoted the devils dictionary. Such an interesting character keeps my life interesting.

Who Could Be Scared Of Jeffery?

My soon to be father-in-law probably has the funniest random things that come out of his mouth that I have ever heard. So I guess you could say that he is my inspiration for this blog. Jeff or Jeffery as we like to call him has an interesting outlook on life and normally doesn't know when to take a breath.

The best part about Jeffery is that he is so fun to egg on. Unless the topic is politics (which you want to stay far away from) you can get him fired up over any subject. On a little trip home from my fiance's doctors appointment we had many discussions, but one about his mid life crisis. Jeffery begin lecturing my fiance about the year before he was discharged from the military how he should have been more responsible so to say.

After the lecturing I began to ask him well how did you spend your time when you were his age? He then went into a short very specific story on how the ladies loved him. That he couldn't keep them off of him in fact he then went on to say: "If they needed me they called 1-800-HOT-JEFF!" Getting this from a guy in his early 50s was just hilarious to me!

That may be one of my favorite lines in my list of Funny Things People Say.....but I have many more from Mr. Jeffery and the other funny people in my life.
